Make these delicious cider baked donuts in the comfort of your own home this holiday season! These are so good, you might need to make a few batches.

Cider Baked Donuts

For the Donuts:
 2 ½ cups flour
 1 ½ tsp baking powder
 1 ½ tsp baking soda
 ½ tsp salt
  cup brown sugar
 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
 ¾ cup buttermilk
 2 apple cider (reduced to 3/4 cup)
 ½ cup Colavita Extra Virgin or Pure Olive Oil
 2 eggs
For the Topping:
 6 tbsp unsalted better, melted
 1 tsp cinnamon
 ¼ tsp nutmeg
 ½ cup granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 375°F and oil a donut pan with Colavita Olive Oil.

Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl to combine.

In a separate bowl, mix together all of the wet ingredients.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix. Do not overmix!

Oil a donut pan with Colavita Olive Oil.

Spoon or pipe the mixture into the donut pan.

Bake at 350˚F for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool in the pans for 5 minutes. Remove and place on a cooling rack to cool completely.

While they are cooling, get your butter + cinnamon sugar topping ready.

In a small bowl, melt butter in the microwave. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.

Once donuts are cool enough to be handled, dip the tops into the melted butter and then quickly into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat for the entire batch of donuts.
