Not only are these firecracker hot dogs a fun appetizer for kids and adults alike, they're delicious! Pair with any of your favorite condiments.

Firecracker Hot Dogs

 1 package store bought pizza dough
 6 kosher beef hot dogs
 1 tbsp dijon mustard
 1 cup shredded cheddar, colby or Monterray Jack cheese
 1 block cheddar, colby or Monterray Jack cheese for cutting into star shapes
 1 tbsp Colavita Olive Oil
 Sesame seeds
 Ketchup and mustard for serving
Equipment:
 Wooden skewers
 Star-shaped cookie cutter

Preheat oven to 350˚F and line baking sheet with parchment.

Thread hot dogs onto wooden skewers.

Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface with a wooden rolling pin.

Spread 1 tablespoon mustard on dough and sprinkle with cheese.

Cut dough into strips with a pizza cutter or sharp knife, then wrap around hot dogs in a spiral pattern.

Brush dough with Colavita Olive Oil, and top with sesame seeds.

Bake for about 17 minutes, or until dough is golden brown and cooked through.

While the hot dogs are baking, cut 6 stars from the extra block of cheese with the cookie cutter.

Once the hot dogs are baked, place the cheese stars on the top of the skewer.

Serve with ketchup and mustard on the side.
