There is nothing better than hot chocolate to help you stay warm on a frosty winter night. Our Perugina Hot Chocolate takes things to a whole new level by using milk chocolate along with either ground cayenne pepper or chili powder for flavor. Enjoy this with your family tonight!

Perugina Hot Chocolate

 3.50 oz Perugina Milk Chocolate
3 cups milk (you can use non-fat or a nut milk, like almond)
 2-3 cinnamon sticks
ground cayenne pepper or chili powder
1

Break up the chocolate into small pieces using a sharp knife. In a saucepan, combine the chopped chocolate, milk, chili pepper or cayenne and cinnamon sticks over medium-low flame.

2

Heat and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and milk is very hot, but not boiling, about 10 minutes.

3

Remove from the heat and divide the hot chocolate into mugs. Feel free to keep the cinnamon sticks in the mugs for extra flavor, or discard them. Serve with our Olive Oil Gingerbread Cookies.
