You love pulled pork, and we know you love pizza, why not put them together? Perfect for summer on the grill or winter when you need something summery!

Zaza's Perfect Pulled Pork Pizza

 3 lbs pork butt roast
 1 large onion, sliced
 3-4 tbsp Colavita Olive Oil
 2 cloves garlic, whole
 2 tetrapaks Colavita Crushed Tomatoes
 ½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup Colavita Apple Cider Vinegar
 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
 Salt and pepper
4 personal sized rounds of pizza dough
1 cup grated white cheddar cheese
 Parsley for garnish
To make the pork:
1

Preheat the oven to 350˚F.

2

Season the pork with salt and pepper. Place it in a deep roasting pan or dutch oven.

3

Mix together Colavita olive oil, crushed tomatoes, brown sugar, Colavita apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture over the pork. Put in the onion slices and garlic. Cover, and cook in the oven for 4 hours.

4

Remove from oven and take the pork out of the pan. The meat should be pulled at this time. Use two forks to shred it.

5

This can be done the day before and you can refrigerate the meat until ready to make your pizza.

To make the pizzas:
6

Pre heat oven to 500 F. If using a pizza stone, allow the stone to heat in the oven for 30 minutes before baking on it. If you don’t have a stone, you can bake the pizza on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Oil the parchment with Colavita Olive Oil before stretching out your dough on it.

7

Stretch out your dough on a pizza peel dusted with flour.

8

Spread approximately 1 cup of pork over the pizza dough.

9

Top with 1/2 cup of white cheddar.

10

Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

11

Remove the pizza from oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
