Roasted Garlic Bread is essential to an Italian meal. Paired with some simple spaghetti or salad, or soup, you won't regret the little time, 10 minutes, it took to make these.
Turn your oven on broil.
Squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves from their papery skins and plop them into a food processor or blender. If you lack both of these appliances, you can mash them up with a fork. Add 2 tablespoons of Colavita Olive Oil and the pinch of salt and blend it all together.
Using a knife, smear some roasted garlic paste onto your slices of bread. Drizzle with a little more Colavita Olive Oil and pop them in the broiler.
Toast for just for a few minutes. Remember to keep an eye on that broiler, it works quickly and you don’t want burnt toast!
Remove them from the oven and sprinkle with a few sprigs of rosemary and serve (with extra roasted garlic purée on the side, please!).
