This is our classic Marinara Sauce recipe. It’s best paired with al dente Colavita Spaghetti, grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and fresh parsley. But it’s so versatile, you can use it in baked pasta dishes like lasagna or over chicken in chicken parmesan.

Preheat a sauce pan over medium heat.
Add the oil and the onions, sauté until translucent.
Add the garlic and cook until it is very aromatic and the garlic begins to lightly color.
Add the tomatoes and the seasoning, bring to a simmer.
